Sound pollution (noise) and its side effects are among the problems that humans face in today's societies. Among the side effects caused by noise are stress, decreased concentration, sleep disorder, conversation disorder, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, tinnitus, and hearing loss. The main sources of noise include air, road and rail traffic, construction and factories.
The noise monitoring laboratory has been equipped and set up in order to provide suitable facilities and environment for measuring the amount of noise caused by different sources, performing frequency analysis, investigating and studying hearing complications and psychoacoustic effects of noise.
